A 29-year-old Morphett Vale woman is in a critical condition after being hit by a car at Sheidow Park, in Adelaide's south, last night.

She had been putting her bins out to the road.

A 25-year-old man from Sheidow Park has been charged with causing harm by dangerous driving and driving disqualified.

Emergency services were called to Berrima Road about 6:45pm, to reports that a car had crashed into another car, hit a pedestrian and then crashed into a second vehicle.

Senior Constable Kate Dawson from SA Police said it appeared the charged man's Mazda had veered onto the wrong side of the road while heading north, crashing into a Kia heading south.

She said the Mazda then "spun out" and hit a parked car and the female pedestrian.

She was taken to Flinders Medical Centre, where she remains in a critical condition.

The charged driver and another woman received minor injuries.

The accused man is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
