A man has been charged after an alleged brutal attack on a disabled fox hunt saboteur and his car.
The 51-year-old victim was reportedly beaten on Kilallan Road, Houston, Renfrewshire in October last year.
He was acting as a driver for the Glasgow Hunt Sabs group which monitors local fox hunting groups and tries to disrupt hunts.
At the time they had been watching the actions of a hunt in the area.

The man, who suffers from mobility problems, had been separated from the rest of his group when he was allegedly set upon as he cowered inside his car.
A video claiming to show the incident circulated on social media at the time.
It has now emerged that a man has been arrested and charged in connection.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with the assault of a 51-year-old man which occurred in the Bridge of Weir area around 3.35pm on Saturday, 17 October, 2020.
"A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
A fundraising drive was launched in the aftermath of the alleged beating to help get the victim's smashed car back on the road.
Generous backers donated nearly £2,100.
The victim responded to the fundraising efforts online.
He wrote: "You have enabled a disabled person to be mobile again.
"It helps install in me a bit of faith in humanity again."
