A man has been charged after an alleged serious sex attack in a car in Fife more than a month ago.
Police say that a 42-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident at around 11.15pm on Monday, July 6 in Kelty.
Cops were called to the scene in Limepark Crescent where a woman said she had been attacked.
The man is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court tomorrow, August 19.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that a 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious sexual assault in Kelty.
"The incident was reported around 11.15pm on Monday, 6 July when a woman was found in the Limepark Crescent area and disclosed to officers that she has been attacked shortly before within a car."
