Man charged after alleged rammy with family over dogs at Scots country park

A man is due to appear in court following an alleged incident at a Scots country park.

The 35-year-old was arrested in connection with the rammy earlier this week after an investigation by Police Scotland.

Officers had appealed for information after a family were said to have been verbally abused at Muiravonside, near Falkirk, following a row over dogs.

The incident is understood to have taken place at around 3.20pm on Monday, April 5.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed the man's arrest and pending court appearance.

They said: "Following on from our appeal in relation to an incident that occurred in Muiravonside Country Park on Monday, April 5, 2021 - Police Scotland can confirm that a 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged.

"The man is due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court at a later date.

"Officers would like to thank the local community for their assistance.
