Man charged after 14 cars vandalised outside Strangeways

A man has been charged after 14 cars were vandalised at Strangeways.

Police were called to the prison on February 27th this year.

In a statement Greater Manchester Police said: "A man has been charged after 14 vehicles were damaged at a prison in Manchester.

"Samuel Walker, 36, of HMP Durham has been charged with conspiracy to commit criminal damage, conveying a class B article into prison and possession of a mobile phone in prison.

"He will appear at a virtual court hearing on Tuesday June 16th 2020.

"At around 6.45pm on Thursday 27 February 2020 police were called to a report of criminal damage to 14 vehicles at Strangeways prison in Manchester."
