A man has been cautioned by police following the discovery of cannabis plants in the bedroom of a County Durham home.
Officers attended an address on Easington Street, Peterlee , following reports from the community of cannabis being grown inside the property.
Upon searching the property on February 25, police found what they described as a "small grow" in the front upstairs bedroom.
Police confirmed the plants were seized but were unable to specify the value of the cannabis discovered.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the production of cannabis. He was later released and received a caution.
A Durham Constabulary spokeswoman said: "If you have information relating to drugs in your area, please call us on 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
