A Hamilton man was caught with a knife at Hairmyres Hospital.
Paul McGeehan, 30, of Swisscot Avenue, was given a four-month electronic tagging order at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
He admitted unlawful possession of a blade at the hospital, in Swisscot Avenue and elsewhere on May 24.
The court heard McGeehan was on bail for another matter at the time of the offence.
