A man is facing a felony drug charge after officers allegedly caught him with cocaine after a fight last week in west suburban Aurora.

Someone flagged down patrol officers about 4:45 p.m. May 30 to report a fight between Jyles and a 20-year-old Aurora woman near a car in the 400 block of State Street, police said.

When officers arrived to intervene, Jyles “pulled away and resisted the officers,” police said. As they arrested him for the resisting and obstruction charge, the officers found one bag of what they believed to be cocaine in his pocket and another on the ground nearby.

The woman, who was not injured during the altercation, declined to press charges against Jyles, police said.
