A man in Oregon was arrested after a day of odd behavior that ended with him exposing himself and masturbating inside a bar. It took more than a dozen police officers to get the situation under control. Andrew Frey, 37, from Beaverton, Oregon, was arrested on Sunday after police got calls about strange behavior at Iggy’s Bar and Grill on Portland Road Northeast in Salem.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said Frey’s weird actions that day started earlier when he called a locksmith to his home, but refused to pay for the work. He then went to a shopping center where workers had to kick him out. After leaving the shopping center, Frey went to Iggy’s Bar and Grill. As per VladTV, a bartender told police that Frey sat down at the bar, pulled out his private parts, and started masturbating.
When a deputy showed up, Frey had moved to the bathroom but kept going with his lewd act. The deputy tried to arrest him, but Frey fought back. The officer hit him with a Taser several times, but it barely did anything to him. The two started fighting, and when a dispatcher couldn’t reach the deputy on his radio, they called for help, with at least 15 officers from Salem, Keizer, and Marion County showing up to finally stop Frey.
This is what happens when drugs take over
After getting arrested, Frey was taken to Salem Memorial Hospital to get checked out because of his crazy behavior. When he got there, he told police that he had used meth on Saturday, the day before everything happened. He said he couldn’t remember anything that happened on Sunday.
Frey was charged with public indecency, resisting arrest, and theft of services. The theft charge came from when he didn’t pay the locksmith earlier that day. Police said the mix of meth use and Frey fighting back made it really hard for officers to get him under control. While Frey’s case is pretty strange, there have been other bizarre arrest incidents where people acted weird in public places.

What happened shows how dangerous and crazy meth can make people act. People who use it often get super strong, don’t feel pain as much, and can become really paranoid or angry. These things make it really tough and dangerous when police have to deal with them.
This case reminds us about the drug problems that towns in Oregon and the rest of the country are still dealing with. Meth use is still a big problem, making people act wild and sometimes violent, which puts everyone at risk. Just like other strange crimes where people showed really odd behavior, Frey’s case shows how drugs can make someone completely lose control, leading to criminal charges and the chance of hurting themselves or other people.
