Man caught on kiss cam at football match admits he was cheating on partner

A football fan went viral over the weekend when he reacted rather sheepishly after being caught on kiss cam.

The clip showed a man with his arm round a woman as they kissed at a football match in Ecuador - before he swiftly removed it when he noticed the cameras were on him.

Speculation across social media was rife that the man in question was playing away and now he has come clean.

Deyvi Andrade took to his own Facebook and Instagram accounts to discuss going viral - and admitted he had been unfaithful to his partner.

In a lengthy post that has been translated from Spanish by Metro, he writes: "If it was a woman was in my place what would you do?

"Various videos have been circulating of unfaithful women but they haven’t been made fun of as much as me.

"I’m going to defend my honour and my pride as a man until the end.

"We all fail and we all repent, thank you to those who have invited me to church and if I go it is so I can heal my family.

"No one is going to be able to damage my image, God is big and strong and these women who are criticising me, I know too have cheated but they still comment."

He then switched his attentions to his partner, adding: "I want to go back to living these moments by your side.

"I am really sorry and this is why I’ve come out in public to comment on this nonsense, so I can ask you to forgive me

"I’m so confused but I want to get you back."

The clip was shown on Good Morning Britain on Monday with presenters Piers Morgan and Susannah Reid both muttering 'Oh dear' at his reaction.

His cause wasn't helped by rock band Nickelback who chimed in on social media, publicising his antics even further.
