A family is hoping someone will grass after a brazen thief stole their new artificial front lawn.
The suspect was caught on camera passing the Hendersons’ front garden with a drink can in his hand.
Seconds later the plastic turf was rolled up and taken away.
Daughter Courtney, 25, said: “My mum opened the curtains and was like: ‘Where’s the grass gone?’
“She was really confused at first and rang my dad asking if he knew why someone had taken the grass.”
She added: “It’s really bizarre because it’s like the smallest piece of grass ever.”

A neighbour’s CCTV captured the moment the turf was lifted at 9pm on Sunday as the family sat in their lounge in Heywood, Gtr Manchester, last Sunday.
Courtney said: “It was at around 9pm, like an hour after my dad got in.
"I was literally on the couch at the time.
“I don’t think it could be someone trying to sell it for money because it’s the tiniest thing ever, it must only be worth around £100 at the most.”

The beauty business owner said the thief had a distinct walk and was wearing a bucket hat.
She added: “I just don’t get how no one has seen a man walking down the street with a roll of grass.
“He’s got a distinct walk and he’s wearing a bucket hat.
"Surely someone knows this guy as there can’t be that many people walking around Heywood with a can and a bucket hat.”
