A homeowner has warned people to be vigilant after his wife caught someone 'licking their doorbell' during the coronavirus lockdown.
Matthew Wehmeier of Batesville, Arkansas, shared the sickening footage on Facebook after his partner Crystal spotted the two men behaving strangely on their RING doorbell camera.
Wehmeier wrote in a Facebook post: "After reviewing last night’s events on our doorbell, my wife came across this nonsense. Our doorbell got licked!
"If that wasn’t bad enough anytime, we’re going through a pandemic right now; people are trying to be mindful about not spreading a virus.
"It’s gross nonsense like this that makes me lose faith in humanity.

"Clean your doorbells, everyone; think of the guests and delivery companies that use it everyday. Just use common sense when protecting yourself and others, unlike these losers!"
The footage shows the two men approaching the door, with one man stepping forward and licking the doorbell.
The man goes on to laugh, before joining his friend as one of them is seen 'floss dancing' in view of the camera.
The laughing pair were then seen exiting the porch, without cleaning off their saliva.

The video is similar to a number of so-called ' coronavirus challenge' videos, in which people share footage of themselves licking objects in public places - something health experts have warned is "highly irresponsible".
GMB's Piers Morgan recently revealed that a man who'd been caught 'licking a toilet bowl' had reportedly been struck down with a case of the deadly bug.
Speaking to Metro, TikTok confirmed it would be 'removing' these challenge videos from it's website.
But the incident in Batesville didn't just end with the two men walking away.
Three days later on March 26th the man who had been seen licking the doorbell appeared on the couple's porch yet again, this time to make a heartfelt apology.
The man said: “What I did the other night was absolutely uncalled for and I understand that and I apologize,"
“I was kinda showing out and putting on a show for the camera. And that’s not okay," the man said. “I apologize for that.”
In the second video, Wehmeier responds to the man through the camera saying: “I appreciate that. That’s stand up of you".
The man informed Wehmeier that he would be speaking with police, following the incident.
Wehmeier told local station Kait8 that while he appreciated the apology, he hoped the man and the wider public understood the consequences of their actions during the time of the coronavirus pandemic.
