Police have arrested a man after catching him drinking rum and 'playing tunes' in his car whilst the engine was running.
Officers on patrol in the city centre came across the car which was parked on Little Peter Street. They found the 26-year-man was sat in the car whilst the engine running whilst drinking rum.
He then pretended that he was born in 1983 to 'look like he was insured'. The man has since been arrested and the car was seized.

Being in charge of a car whilst under the influence of drink or drugs is an offence under section 4 (2) of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
, Greater Manchester Police based in the city centre said: "Being over the limit while in charge of a [car] is illegal. 26 year old arrested by our @GMPSpecials on #LittlePeterSt last night, sat in a [car], engine running, playing tunes, drinking rum while not insured. Pretended he was born in 83 to look like the [car] insured. Car seized #165 G."
