Man caught, 10m meth pills seized in Samut Prakan

SAMUT PRAKAN: A young man was arrested and more than 10 million methamphetamine pills seized from his house in Bang Phli district in the early hours of Tuesday.

Police from Metropolitan Police Division 8 raided the house in tambon Bang Kaeo and found 10,310,000 speed pills in neatly wrapped packages around 1.30am.

The owner, Pongsakorn “Bomb’’ Phravorn, 22, was detained at the house, Thai media reported on Tuesday.

The raid followed information that Mr Pongsakorn was a major drug trafficker. Police had closely monitored his activities and suspected he stored large quantities of illicit drugs at the house.
