An urban explorer claims to have caught ghostly whispers and shadows on video during a recent visit to Woolton Hall.
Elliot Ward is no stranger to the grand manor house and has made a number of visits to the side over the last six years.
But in his most recent visit, the 34-year-old managed to capture two spooky whispers as well as a strange shadow that drifted across the room.

In the video posted on Mr Ward's YouTube page Nothing but Elliot, he captures a peculiar whisper that asks "may you show yourself to me?"
He enters a second room where a shadow can be seen drifting across the room in front of him.
The tension of the video increases when Mr Ward reaches the spot where he saw the shadow and a new voice can be heard whispering just the one word — "consolidation."
Mr Ward, from Halewood, told the ECHO : "I heard a couple of things while setting up but thought it was just pigeons.
"The way I go about my paranormal investigations is I wait until I'm back and have all the footage so I can go back over it.
"When I'm there I always tell myself it could just be a rustle of my jacket or my footstep.
"I didn't hear the first whisper when I was there, but after I walked over to where the couch was I heard the little whisper.
"I didn't stay in that part of the building for very long and I'm not usually scared. But this time I moved on so I asked myself why did I leave so quickly?"
He adds although he believes in the paranormal, he says he also is sceptical and always looks for common sense explanations.
He said: "I saw a ghost when I was younger so I've always believed in the paranormal.
"But I'd always look for an explanation before I end up at the paranormal.
"I can't explain how it could be anything else in this occasion, I don't know how anything else could make the noise that sounds like those words.
"I was scared, excited and confused when I heard the voices."
Mr Ward has been an urban explorer for eight years and has had his work featured on Discovery Plus.
He finds himself drawn to Woolton Hall and has repeatedly explored the building in the past. He adds he is always on the lookout for new buildings to explore.
He said: "I grew up hearing about it so when I started urban exploring I had to go there.
"Over the years I've seen it deteriorate more and more over time so you just grow a love for the building.
"Me and a friend recently posted a video of us tidying up the hall as it's a shame to see it deteriorating the way it is.
"The building is a big part of the city's history so just being in there is an amazing experience. When it was built, normal people wouldn't have been allowed in the building.
"I look out for new places to go. More and more places are being renovated and turned into apartments which is good in a way as it means change is happening and people are giving them new life."
