A man was carjacked Thursday in the Loop near the Lakefront.
The 63-year-old man was sitting in his parked Nissan van about 1:50 a.m. in the 200 block of North Columbus Drive when two men walked up to him and forced him out of the vehicle at gunpoint, Chicago police said.
The men took the victims’s wallet and phone before fleeing eastbound in his van, police said.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
