Man called 'Something Long And Complicated' admits taking plastic gun into library

A man called 'Something Long And Complicated' has admitted taking a starter pistol into a library in north London.

The 35-year-old, from Islington, was caught with the imitation gun at St Pancras Square Library on February 16 this year.

He was arrested the same day and is currently detained in a hospital, Blackfriars Crown Court heard.

Complicated, who changed his name from William Wood in 2007, appeared in the dock last week wearing a black bath robe flanked by two hospital workers,  Metro reported .

He admitted possession of an imitation firearm in a public place and Judge Dafna Spiro adjourned sentence until next month pending psychiatric reports.

Addressing the defendant the judge asked: “Mr Complicated, can you hear?

“Before the court can proceed to sentence we need to get another report from your treating psychiatrist, and that is going to take a few weeks for him to do that.

“You will come back here on the 23 October and hopefully on the date we will be able to sentence you. Do you understand?’

Complicated replied: "Not really, but ok."

Complicated, who was originally from Grimsby, will be sentenced on October 23, reports Grimsby Live.

Complicated first hit headlines in 2015 when he accused Facebook of "robbing his online identity" when his account was suspended as they did not believe it was his real name .

He said he couldn’t use dating site Tinder as a result and could not contact his contacts as they were all stored in his Facebook account.

He said at the time: “This is a royal pain in the a***. My entire online identity has been robbed by one website.

"I don't even think I know how much Facebook is ruining my life."
