Man breaks 70 windows at Bristol Jobcentre

A Southmead man has broken 70 windows at a Jobcentre in Horfield.

Mark King, of Ringwood Crescent, caused £30,000 worth of damage at the Monks Park Avenue building on October 17.

The 53-year-old also broke the windows of a First bus that day, on the same road.

He pleaded guilty to two charges of criminal damage with intent at Bristol Magistrates' Court on October 19.

King is set to be sentenced on November 20 at Bristol Crown Court.

A Department of Work and Pensions spokesman said: “This disgraceful act of vandalism at Horfield Jobcentre will not be tolerated and we have been supporting the police with their investigation."
