Man branded 'evil' as he plans Halloween sweets prank - but some think he's a 'legend'

Halloween will officially be upon us tomorrow, and many of us will be spending our Sunday making the final touches to our spooky decorations, and filling up a bowl with enough sweets to hand out to any young children who might make a stop at your house on their Trick-or-Treating route.

But one man has got different plans for Halloween this year, as he doesn't plan on giving out sweets and chocolate to people who knock on his front door. Instead, the man will hand Trick-or-Treaters "golden balls of disappointment", which will remain undetected until the unsuspecting youngster goes to tuck into their haul.

He wrapped Brussels sprouts in Ferrero Rocher foil (reddit.com/)

The man shared his "evil" prank in a post on the Casual UK forum on Reddit, where he posted a picture of himself wrapping raw Brussels sprouts in the golden foil of a Ferrero Rocher.

He would then slip the foil-wrapped vegetable back into the brown paper cup that the chocolate would have been presented in, leaving the poor souls who visit his house tomorrow none the wiser.

The man captioned his image: "Preparing the Golden Balls of Disappointment for Halloween."

Commenters were torn over the man's diabolical plan, as while some said there was "a special place in hell" for him, others said he was a "legend" - and some even gave him tips on how to take his prank even further.

One person said: "That's a lot of prep just to be an a***hole."

While another wrote: "There is a special place in hell for people like you."

And a third said: "That's just mean. What an a** hat."

But someone else stuck up for the anonymous poster, stating: "Legend!", as they were backed up by another who commented: "Evil, but very funny."

Someone else then suggested: "You need to dip them in chocolate for the full effect."
