Man believed to have died at Broomhill Co-op

A man has suffered what is believed to have been a fatal heart attack at a shop in Bristol.

An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesman confirmed the police and paramedics were called to the Co-op store in Broomhill at 12.10pm today (March 1, 2020).

The spokesman said police were "dealing with a medical incident".

The spokesman was unable to confirm any more details at this time.

Bristol Live understands a man suffered a heart attack and sadly could not be helped by medics.

The shop is closed and a notice on the door cites a medical emergency and asks for people's understanding.

Details concerning the incident are limited at this time.

We will bring you more information as we get it.
