An operator has been chosen for the new Central Plaza on Dame Street, and it's the man behind some of the world's most famous venues.
Zafar Shah, who is bringing the world-famous Asian restaurant PF Chang's to Dundrum Shopping Centre, will operate the former home of the Central Bank.
Mr Shah also operates franchises such as the popular Paul Bakery and Philliez Kitchen.
His plans for Central Plaza includes turning the venue into three different venues under the one roof.
He said: "My vision is for a truly iconic venue with the full panoramic expanse of this historic city on show and creating a go-to location for fine dining, casual drinks or just a place where people can come and admire the beautiful skyline of the capital.
"It is time the Irish public were allowed to enjoy world famous international brands in the comfort of their own cities.
"We have ambitious plans to bring an extensive portfolio of exciting new franchises into the country and to introduce a unique variety of food and dining experiences within this dynamic and growing Irish market."
The new space will provide unrivalled 360 views of Dublin overlooking Trinity College, Dublin Castle, O’Connell Street and further beyond from the Wicklow Mountains to Howth Head to the Phoenix Park.
An external 360 walkway around the perimeter at level nine will provide customers with an open-air experience of the sounds and sights of the city below.
