Hospitals have been warned about a man who falsely claims to have serious illnesses in order to receive treatment, food and a bed.
The NHS Counter Fraud Service (CFS) Wales has issued a new 'risk alert' for Christopher Dearlove, 70. It urges staff to call 999 immediately if they see Dearlove, who also goes by the names Gary Wainwright, Gary Lampard, Gary Ryan and Gary Fowler.

A court also heard how he tricked staff into thinking he was a haemophiliac with AIDS and coughed up fake blood to get a room to himself. He is thought to have cost the NHS thousands of pounds through his actions, reports Wales Online.
Despite the ASBO and a jail sentence of 14 months, a new "risk alert" has been issued by the NHS CFS to hospital staff in some areas of the UK including Wales, including medics at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
A spokesman added: "We are currently collating information on the subject's attendances at NHS hospitals in England and Wales, with the intention of taking appropriate preventative action to protect NHS resources."
