Man attacked with pole before falling from window during home burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after a report that a man was attacked with a pole before falling from a window during an aggravated burglary.

It was reported that the victim was sleeping upstairs when an intruder entered his home In Watford Road, Aspley, and attacked him on April 28.

As he was attacked the victim moved backwards and fell out of a first-floor bedroom window.

The victim sustained cuts and bruises and a broken arm requiring hospital treatment. He was later discharged from hospital.

Detective Sergeant Andy Buxton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to understand the circumstances of this incident.

"We're appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information to please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 97 of April 28, 2020, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
