Man attacked with baseball bat and sledgehammer at Sale home before six masked thugs snatch eight Rolexes, Tag Heuers and Omegas from his house

A man was attacked with a baseball bat and sledgehammer by six masked thugs, who stole luxury watches worth more than £100,000 from his house.

Three Rolexs; two Omegas; and three Tag Heuer watches were snatched.

The victim was in his garden in Sale, Trafford, when he heard noises, at around 10.30pm on Wednesday (July 31).

He tried to get inside his house, at Hazelmere Gardens in Sale, but was grabbed from behind by six men dress in black, wearing balaclavas. The man was pulled to the floor before being attacked.

Police said he was then dragged inside, before the gang demanded he open his safe. The watches were inside.

The men ran off towards Worthington Park.

GMP said the was left with cuts and bruises on his face and body.

The watches, worth more than £100,000 total, were:

  • A rose gold and brown Rolex Sky Dweller
  • A rose gold Yacht Master Rolex
  • A James Cameron Sea Dweller Rolex
  • An orange Omega Sea Master Planet Ocean
  • An Omega dress watch
  • A Tag Monaco
  • A Tag Aqua Racer
  • A Tag i-watch

Detectives are asking anyone offered to watches to come foward.
