A man was attacked by a gang with weapons on a street in Bolton.
The incident happened on Avondale Road in the Farnworth area at around midnight on Sunday (March 26). Police were called to the scene to reports of an assault.
A man was attacked by a group of people who were armed, police said. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing into the incident.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called to a report of an assault from a group with weapons of man on Avondale Road, Farnworth at around midnight on Sunday 26 March 2023. Injuries sustained are believed not to be life threatening.
"No arrests have been made at this time. Enquiries are ongoing."
