Man attacked in Grangemouth street by yob in Chelsea top

Police are on the hunt for a yob after a man was attacked in broad daylight in Grangemouth.

Officers were called to the towns Kingseat Avenue at around 10:30am on Sunday September, 3, following reports of an assault.

The 48-year-old isn't believed to have been badly injured as a result of the incident.

The suspect is thought to have been in his 40s, about 5" 6' and had a skinny build, he was also wearing a Chelsea FC football top as well as white trainers and a blue baseball cap.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10:30am officers were called to reports a male had been assaulted at Kingseat Avenue, Grangemouth.

"The suspect is described as male, 40’s, about 5”6, skinny, wearing Chelsea top, jeans, white trainers & blue baseball cap.

"Any info, please call 101 quoting incident 1958 of the 10th."
