Man attacked by group in Narrabundah assault

A group of offenders attacked a man on a Narrabundah street in the early hours of Thursday morning, police say.

ACT police say a 27-year-old man was assaulted by a group of people near Kyeema Street about 4am on Thursday.

The group of attackers stole the man's car, a grey 2003 Mercedes E240 with the licence plate YJG 12Q, following the early-morning attack.

The man's wallet was also stolen in the incident.

ACT police have urged for anyone with information to come forward.

A police spokesman said anyone who sees the stolen car should report it to police but not approach it.

Anyone with information or dash-cam footage has been asked to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
