Man assaulted on board Dumbarton train as police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted on board a train as it pulled into a Scots station.

British Transport Police believe the assault, which took place on board the train as it arrived at Dumbarton Central Station, was seen by members of the public.

Two men were said to be involved in the altercation which happened at around 3.45pm on Friday, May 1.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.

In both cases, quote reference number 197 of 01/05/2020.
