A man has been arrested after a police incident on Liverpool waterfront.
Police, fire service and a search and rescue team were called to South Ferry Quay, at around 5.10pm on Sunday, January 22, to reports of concern for the safety of a man.
A police helicopter was seen circling the area and a large cordon was put in place. The incident was described as "ongoing" for a number of hours.

Detectives have now confirmed that following a report of a concern for safety of a man, they have arrested a 21-year-old, from Litherland.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of disclosing/threatening to disclose private sexual photographs and films with intent to distress. He remains in custody and our enquiries are ongoing.
