Man arrested on suspicion of murdering missing Paisley mum Patricia Henry

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Scots woman who has been missing since 2017.

Patricia Henry, 46, known as Patti, was last seen at her home in Girvan in November 2017.

Despite extensive searches Police Scotland were unable to find the mum who relocated from Paisley a month before she went missing.

The force re-appealed for information earlier this month believing she may have "come to harm".

A 69-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Patricia.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
