Man arrested on suspicion of dangerously driving electric bike

A man riding an electric bike has been arrested after failing to stop for police.

The 27-year-old was held on Picton Road, Wavertree, at around 12.40pm today, April 11, on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving, using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance, and driving a vehicle on a road without due care and attention.

He remained in police custody this evening, Merseyside Police said.
