A man was arrested following an incident of dangerous driving in west Dublin.
Gardai were alerted to an instance of dangerous driving and criminal damage on Clifden Road in Ballyfermot shortly after 1am on Sunday.
The man, in his 40s, was taken to Ballyfermot Garda Station.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí in Ballyfermot are investigating an incident of dangerous driving and criminal damage which occurred on the Clifden Road in Ballyfermot on Sunday, 16th January 2022. The incident occurred shortly after 1am.
"A man in his 40s was later arrested by Gardaí and taken to Ballyfermot Garda Station.
"Investigations ongoing."
