A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after another man was seriously injured in a crash in Bury.
Emergency services rushed to the scene in Radcliffe Road shortly before 10pm on Tuesday (August 24).
Police say they received reports of a collision between two vehicles.
Eyewitnesses said the incident happened near to the Derby High School.

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening leg injuries, officers say.
A second person was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police have arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of dangerous driving.
Radcliffe Road was shut between Whitefield Road and Caton Close while emergency services dealt with the aftermath of the smash.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers were called to reports of a collision between two vehicles on Radcliffe Road, Bury, at 9.55pm on 24 August 2021.
"A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening leg injuries.
"A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and enquiries are ongoing."
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: "We received a call last night at 9.57pm to an RTC involving two vehicles.
"We dispatched two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles and an advanced paramedic to the scene.
"One male patient had sustained serious injuries and was transported to Salford Royal.
"Another patient was treated at the scene for minor injuries also transported to Salford Royal."
