Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police have arrested a man on suspicion of assault after a woman was attacked in Talgarth, Brecon. The police force issued an update on their investigation this evening (Wednesday, November 30).
While police have not gone into details about the specific timing or further details surrounding the incident the force has shared some information on the progress of their investigation so far.
Shortly before 11pm Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that a man had been arrested and remains in police custody. A statement has been taken from the victim and officers have obtained CCTV evidence to aid their investigation.

The force tweeted: "We are aware of the level of concern on social media surrounding an incident in Talgarth, Brecon, where a woman was attacked with cleaning fluid. We can confirm that a man is currently in custody, arrested on suspicion of carrying out the assault."
"The investigation is live, which limits the details we can provide however we can confirm that officers have taken a statement from the victim and obtained CCTV evidence, and our enquiries are ongoing."
