Police have confirmed a man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of ex-bodybuilder Morgan Dunn.
The 34-year-old’s body was found lifeless at a property in Ayr over a week and a half ago.
Officers found Dunn at Marigold Square in Kincaidston on Saturday, February 8.
Emergency crews raced to the home after the alarm was raised at around 4pm but Dunn, of Stevenston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
This week a massive police presence has been maintained in the area.
Cops have now arrested a 26-year-old man over the death.
A police spokesman said: "A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Morgan Dunn in Ayr on Saturday, February 8."
The man is due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court today.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
