A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in the Springburn area of Glasgow.
Police Scotland were called to reports of a disturbance within a garden at a block of flats in Elmvale Street at around 3.50pm yesterday (March 24).
A man was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he died a short time later.
Formal identification has yet to take place. The death is being treated as suspicious pending a post-mortem.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Inspector Stuart Grainger, of the Major Investigation Team, said: "Enquiries are at an early stage and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the disturbance or who has any information which may be relevant to come forward."
