A man has been arrested in connection with the theft of four dogs from Perthshire.
The 38-year-old was charged in connection with two incidents in the Meikleour and Forneth areas.
He was also charged with a number of other offences and is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court later today.
Officers confirmed that one of the dogs was traced to an address in England but three others are still missing.
A police spokesman confirmed that enquiries “are continuing in relation to various aspects of these offences, including the whereabouts of some of the dogs involved.”
