Police have arrested a man in connection with the death of an alleged shooting victim in Glasgow.
John McGregor, 44, died following an incident in Westray Street in the Milton area of the city on the evening of Thursday, August 26.
Locals performed CPR and paramedics also worked on McGregor before he was rushed to hospital.
The dad-of-five was in a critical condition and passed away the following Saturday night.
McGregor’s devastated family thanked members of the public who battled to save his life when police renewed their appeal for witnesses to come forward.
On Wednesday afternoon, officers confirmed the arrest.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing."
