A MAN has been arrested in connection with alleged sexual offences after two girls were "attacked".
Cops received reports of two females being assaulted in the Burnbrae Road area of Blantyre on Saturday evening.
The ages of the victims were not given.
The alleged incidents happened within 20 minutes of one another.
Officers then arrested and charged an 18-year-old man in connection.
He is due to appear in court today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with sexual offences following reports of two girls being assaulted in the Burnbrae Road area of Blantyre around 7.20pm and 7.40pm on Saturday, April 22.
“He is due to appear at Motherwell Sheriff Court on Monday, April 23, 2023.”
