A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of a man in Blantyre.
Officers were called to a disturbance on Wednesday (March 31) in a flat where a 33-year-old man was found dead.
Now, Police Scotland have confirmed a 20-year-old man will appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court tomorrow, April 3, in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Frank Travers, from the major investigations team, said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and there will be a continued police presence in the area while our enquiries continue.
“I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and assistance.
“This appears to have been an isolated incident and anyone with concerns is asked to get in touch with officers.
“If you have information that could help our investigation please contact Police Scotland on 101."
