A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a Glasgow man described as "an absolute gentleman".
Alan Ritchie, 61, found dead by cops in his flat in Kennishead Avenue, Carnwardric last Tuesday.
Now police have revealed that a 31-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with his death.
A spokesman said: "A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
Following his death, tributes poured in for Alan.
On Facebook one person wrote: "Can't believe he's gone, RIP Alshy.
"You'll be missed by everyone who knew you."
Another added: "I'm really gutted.
"Alan was always smiling."
A third posted: "So sad, what a lovely guy.
"Alshy, you will never be forgotten my wee pal."
Another wrote: "An absolute gentleman who will be greatly missed.
"Rest easy, Alshy."
