A man has been arrested in connection with an attempted murder in Castlemilk, police have confirmed.
A 29-year-old man was found seriously injured on Arnprior Road in the south of the city at around 5.30pm on Monday, May 4.
The man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after emergency services arrived at the scene.
Police this afternoon advised: "A 43 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this incident. He was due before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 20 May.
"A full report had been forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal."
