A man has been arrested in connection with a reports of a man acting suspiciously in Govan.
A 28-year-old was charged following the incident in Elder Park on Saturday, September 28.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Monday).
It comes following posts on social media, which police have described as "inaccurate".
Sergeant Alan Robb said: "I understand that there has been a lot of concern in the local community about these incidents, with a number of rumours being shared on social media.
"Many of these allegations are completely inaccurate and I hope that this arrest brings some sense of peace to the public."
