A man has been arrested following a disturbance and a spate of vehicles being broken into in Bolton.
Police received numerous reports of vehicles being broken into around Breightmet on Tuesday morning.
Just after 11:30am, police attended reports of a disturbance on Gregory Avenue.
A 38-year-old male was arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft and possession of a knife.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police's Bolton division had previously posted about the spate of vehicle break-ins.
They warned residents to ensure they remove all valuables from vehicles.
