An investigation is under way after a woman's death in County Durham.
Sophie Moss was found in a critical condition at an address in Glaisdale Court, Darlington, on Sunday morning.
The 33-year-old was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
A 31-year old-man was arrested in connection with the investigation and taken into custody where he remains.
Police say the family of Ms Moss have been informed and have asked for privacy at this time.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances around Sophie’s death.
