Man arrested following ‘creepy prowler’ reports in Fife

A man has been arrested in relation to reports of a “creepy prowler” in Fife earlier this week.

The 44-year-old was charged in relation to a series of crimes on the Dunnikier housing estate, in Kirkcaldy.

The Record reported how a person was caught on film in the Hollybrae in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed the man was due to appear in court today in relation to the Kirkcaldy allegations.

They said: “A 44 year old male is appearing at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in relation to crimes of dishonesty reported to us on the 20th January 2021 within the Hollybrae and Rowanbrae areas of Kirkcaldy.

“Thanks to the members of the local community for their assistance with our enquiries.”
