Police hunting a serial flasher who reportedly struck seven times have made an arrest.
Police investigating the spate of incidents in Crewe have arrested a 23-year-old man from the town.
The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
The incidents are reported to have happened between Sunday 31 October and Sunday 7 November in the area of Underwood Lane and West Street.
Officers are continuing to question the suspect and are continuing their enquiries.
Patrols will continue to provide reassurance in the local community.
Over the past two weeks, officers have received reports of seven incidents in the Underwood Lane/West Street area of Crewe.
The first incident was reported at around 11.20am on Sunday October 31 when a man exposed himself in front of a woman near to the junction of Underwood Lane and West Street.

Then, between 11.52am Saturday November 6 and 7.23pm on Sunday November 7, police were called to a further six incidents in the same area where women were approached by an unknown man.
During some of the incidents, the man followed the women and on other occasions he grabbed hold of them by the wrist. None of the victims were injured but have been left extremely shaken.
The man is described as white, with a tanned complexion, around 6’ tall and of stocky build.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Moores, who is leading the investigation, said earlier this week: “I understand the concern these incidents are likely to cause and I want to reassure residents that a number of enquiries are ongoing and we are doing everything we can to trace the person responsible.
“Patrols have been stepped up in the area and I would urge anyone with any concerns to speak to a local officer."
