
A man has been arrested at Canberra train station after he was allegedly found to be in possession of a substance believed to be cocaine.
The 51 year-old Deakin man was arrested at the Kingston station after travelling on the morning train from Sydney on Thursday.
ACT Policing conducted a search of the man who was allegedly found with approximately 59 grams of a white powder in a clear plastic bag.
Police are currently conducting tests of the substance. If confirmed as cocaine it has an estimated street value of almost $20,000.
The man will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday charged with the trafficking of a controlled drug other than cannabis.

ACT Policing have asked anyone with information regarding the trafficking, manufacturing or dealing of illicit drugs to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
