Man arrested at Scottish airport before boarding early morning plane

A MAN has been arrested before he boarded a plane at Glasgow Airport, police have said.

The 40-year-old man was apprehended by officers in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Police said he was wanted in connection with an outstanding warrant.

The force did disclose what the warrant was in relation to. 

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On the morning of Tuesday, September 9, 2025, police arrested a 40-year-old man at Glasgow Airport in connection with an outstanding warrant.”
