A man has been arrested after a report of a woman being raped in a city centre lane in Glasgow.
Police have taped off Near Wynd, near Trongate, after being made aware of the incident on Tuesday night.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: "Police were made aware of a report by a 37 year old woman of a serious sexual assault in the New Wynd area of the Trongate, Glasgow at around 10.40pm on Tuesday 10 September 2019.
"A 36 year old man has been arrested.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
